Frequently Asked Questions?

What sets Media Cure Music apart from the rest?

Media Cure Music is not a corporate giant with tons of different departments and people that easily lose the chain of communication between projects and issues. This is a close-knit operation, determined to make a strong standing in the music and multimedia world by working long and hard to satisfy every client and project. You’ll see.

I really like what I’m hearing, but don’t need such a “full” sound for this project. Can you help with that?

Absolutely! If you hear the right piece of music but don’t want the drums, or only want the piano, etc., just email or call with your specific instrumentation needs of the existing music you’ve licensed and we’ll make it happen, free of charge!

I need the music edited to fit in a certain time frame and/or need the ending to be customized to fit. Can you help with that?

Yes, we have the ability to easily edit for time or customize the piece to fit your needs. There will be an hourly labor cost, but this usually only takes a few minutes to accomplish once the composer opens the project. Email or call for this service.

Do you offer the tracks in formats other than mp3?

Yes. The download that is automatically sent to you is a HIGH QUALITY 256kbps mp3, which is usually good enough for most people’s needs. However, if you need the track in aif or wav form, call or email and we’ll send it off to you asap!

This is exactly the music I’m looking for, but my budget is limited. Are you willing to work with various production budgets?

Of course! Media Cure Music exists for offering original, quality production music for those who don’t have the budget but don’t want to bring the production quality down. If you have a limited budget and NEED to negotiate a custom license fee, email or call to make an offer.

Do you offer exclusive licenses?

Yes, if you are interested in an exclusive license of a piece of music from the library, email or call to discuss those fees.

Do I need to file a cue sheet with a performing rights organization once I use the music?

Yes. Once you include any of our music in a project that will be broadcast or performed, you must submit a cue sheet with ASCAP in order for the composer to receive royalties for his work. In the cue sheet you should include the name of the work, the composer (Luke Denton), and the publisher (Media Cure Music).

I have a project that needs multiple pieces of music. Do you offer bulk rates?

Yes. If you need multiple cues for your project, call or email to discuss your project and we’ll strike up the best deal for your needs.

I really like your music, and I have a project that needs a custom score. Do you score custom music?

Definitely! Email or call and we’ll discuss your project needs and goals.

I need more of a certain kind of music, or I have a suggestion that might help the user experience with your website. May I make a suggestion?

Please do! If you have suggestions of ways to make your experience with Media Cure better or more effective, or if you’re in need of a particular genre of music and you just want to hear more of that style in the library, with Luke’s personal touch to it, don’t hesitate to call or email, and thanks for the interest!
